Fiber rich foods are absorbed in our body as soluble fiber and insoluble fiber. Most of the vegetables are mix with these two types of fiber. Soluble fiber turns into gel like substance in our stomach. Soluble fiber reduces cholesterol and slows your digestion process. On the opposite the insoluble fiber remains unchanged in your stomach. It makes waste soft and helps to move through colon. If you avoid fiber rich foods then you have to face constipation. Lack of fiber rich foods make you feel full. On the other hand eating too much fiber foods leads you to quick moving of your bowels. Then there is a chance of not being absorbed necessary minerals from foods.
